The ERS-210 is the second generation AIBO, released in 2001.

Unlike all other models, the 210 sports pointed ears that can flick up and down.

They have back, chin, and chin sensors. Unlike the 11X, they will respond to their paws being pressed (or not doing so) when shaking hands.

The 210 has voice recognition as well as sad LEDs which the 11x lacked.

Of all models, the 210 has the most limited edition color options. The default colors were Gold, Silver, and Black.

The ERS-220 released later, roughly moreso around the time of the 3 series.

They sold rather poorly compared to the other models, and are now much harder to find.

They sport the same sensors as the 210, however in different spots. A head lamp has been introduced on the top of the 220's head.

Silver was the only color option.
